As a continuation of the ongoing partnership between (Collaboration of Australians and Sri Lankans for Pharmacy Practice, Education and Research) CASPPER and the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, this year, three clinical pharmacy educators will visit the Department of Pharmacy from 28th July to 31st July. They will mainly assit in final yeal BPharm undergraduate clinical pharmacy training for the 2019/2020 batch at National Hospital Kandy (NHK). This visit will benefit the undergraduate students as they can obtain international pharmacy practice exposure, and they can improve their hands-on clinical skills under their supervision. Also, the academic staff at the Department of Pharmacy can also update their clinical pharmacy-related skills during this visit by training students alongside the experienced CASPPER clinical pharmacist at local wards.Mr. N.M.Y.K. Bagyawantha will cordinate from the Department of Pharmacy as the clinical pharmacy course cordinator.
