Faculty of Allied Health Sciences
The Faculty Quality Assurance Cell (FQAC), was established in 2016 under the
guidance of the Vice Chancellor, in accordance with the guidelines
provided by the UGC (Circular No. 04/2015 dated 5th May 2015). Later,
on 11th November 2020 the name of the FQAC was changed as Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the faculty is dedicated to ensure
the quality of education across all degree programs offered by the Faculty
of Allied Health Sciences and to create a quality culture in all activities conducted.
IQAC operates under the guidance of the Centre for Quality Assurance,
adhering to the Sri Lankan Qualifications Framework and the standards
established by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Council of Sri Lanka (QAC).
The IQAC is committed to ensure the internal quality assurance processes in alignment
with the faculty's vision and mission, to ensure academic standards are upheld to produce
knowledgeable and competent graduates who are employable and committed to fulfill social
responsibilities.
