Department of Physiotherapy of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences of the University of
Peradeniya is privileged to call for applications
for the all-new, and first-ever Diploma course in Human Movement Sciences and Injury Prevention
in Sri Lanka.
The course contents have been developed by highly reputed international and national experts in
the fields of exercise and sports sciences.

It aims to give basic knowledge in all aspects of exercise and sports and physical education to teachers (in government and international schools), sports coaches, sportsmen and women, and anybody planning to pursue a career in sports locally and internationally.
It is an excellent pathway to study sports-related subjects in overseas universities as the curriculum is planned to cover basic subjects required to lay the foundation to follow overseas sports-related degree courses.

1) Pass in G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination locally or equivalent examination abroad.
or
2) Diploma level qualification (SLQF Level 3) with one year of experience in the field of sports, as a coach / physical education teacher in a school or as a sports officer.
