Lamp lighting ceremony of 2011/2012 batch
- The 06th Lamp Lighting Ceremony of the Department of Nursing in the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences was held on 22nd of September, 2014 at the Main Lecture Hall of the Faculty.The Nursing students of batch 2011/2012 were offered with caps and three wicks Lamps. Also these students gave the oath marking the entry into the Nobel profession of Nursing. The Vice Chancellor and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya, Ms. Trixie Marthenesz, the patron of the Graduated nurses foundation of Sri Lanka and Deans of other faculties participated in this event as guest invitees.
