Collaborations with Yonsei University College of Nursing , Seoul , South Korea

The Head of the Department of Nursing Dr. Rasika Illeperuma met the staff and the officials of the Yonsei University College of Nursing during his visit to the Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea in August 2018. The Yonsei University Collage of Nursing is more than 100 years old well established institute and serves as the only WHO collaborating training centre in Korea. It was discussed to initiate student and staff exchange programmes between two universities, especially the postgraduate opportunities for the faculty members of the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Allied health Sciences, University of Peradeniya. The Yonsei University officials showed very positive response regarding developing collaborations.
